Eight people who put on this nation's uniform, who sacrificed, who earned it, thrown aside by a Fox News pundit LARPing as the Secretary of Defense. I was a paratrooper in the 82nd Airborne. When that plane door opened thousands of feet in the air — when I jumped out with 100 pounds of gear at 100 miles an hour — do you think I gave a damn whether the soldier next to me was Black or white? Man or woman? No. All that mattered was their skill, their dedication, and their guts. The so-called "pro-military" party is using our service members as a political punching bag.
