He's been golfing every single weekend for the past couple months, throughout the entire war, but as soon as his least favorite son is getting married (again), he's suddenly "busy with Iran and other things." One might feel bad for Donald Trump Jr...if he weren't one of the worst people in the world.

Senate Republicans say "fuck this" and go home after rebelling over Trump's J6 terrorist slush fund
Senate Republicans have had enough of Trump's bullshit, and they are NOT happy. After 25 Senators spent over an hour yelling at Attorney General Todd Blanche in a "very hostile" meeting over Trump's plan to reward cop-beating terrorists with million of dollars, Majority Leader John Thune canceled votes on the reconciliation bill Trump wants to pay for ICE, cancelled a meeting with the White House, and sent everybody home.

This ensures that they will NOT hit the Trump-imposed June 1st deadline to fund ICE, in yet another symbolic rebuke to the president. Thune told reporters that the J6 fund “ makes everything way harder than it should be” and that it “would have been nice if they had consulted” senators. “Our majority is melting down before our eyes,” texted one Senate aide to Punchbowl’s Andrew Desiderio. While we're sure these spineless cowards will eventually cave and give Trump what he wants, it is a sign that there are some very bumpy waters ahead for Trump and his agenda...and it's all his fault!

After a teeth-pulling public fight, DNC Chair Ken Martin finally agreed to release the secrecy-shrouded post-2024 autopsy...and it quickly became clear why: it really sucks. As in it is written embarassingly poorly, possibly with AI, and gets basic facts and figures wrong. He was absolutely right to not release this report, but the way it was handled does not exactly inspire confidence in DNC leadership. They should have just been forthright about this from the start, admitted it's not up to the standards of a ninth-grade civics class, and comissioned a real team to do an election autopsy. This did not need to go like this, and now there's egg on everybody's face.

In her latest cry for attention, the volatile and unhinged South Carolina Congresswoman has chosen racism. Her proposed ban would bar all naturalized citizens from serving in Congress, but she singled out three Democratic reps in her attack post: Somali-born Ilhan Omar, India-born Shri Thaneda, and India-born Pramila Jayapal. "All born in foreign countries, none were citizens by birth. All sitting in the United States Congress," she wrote. "All making clear every single day their loyalty is not to America." It hasn't even been a week since someone targeted a mosque in a mass shooting hate crime, and Mace is already back to demonizing immigrants in a desperate bid to steal a few seconds in the spotlight. Truly despicable.
