I wanted you to hear this from me first. I’m suing Donald Trump. As a Capitol Police Officer, I held the line on January 6th to defend democracy and the rule of law. Now, Trump is starting a slush fund to REWARD the rioters who beat me and my fellow officers bloody. And YOUR taxpayer dollars are funding it. I’m PISSED. This $1.8 BILLION slush fund is Trump’s way of BANKROLLING people who incite violence on his behalf. On January 6, I was immersed in a profane mix of sweat, screams, blood, broken limbs, hatred, and bigotry as Trump's mob tried to overturn a free and fair election. When I testified about the horrors of that day, I faced a barrage of death threats. Donald Trump just put another target on my back. But I refuse to back down.
