NEWS: Trump Suggests Taking Over Voting in Certain Locations, Trump Demands DOJ Move on From Jeffrey Epstein, More Major Documents Revealed

Good evening everyone. There is a lot to cover tonight, from the newly released Epstein files to Donald Trump openly suggesting federal control over voting in key Democratic states, a statement that set off alarm bells across the nation.

I also need to address something that just happened. Donald Trump held an open press session in the Oval Office and not a single reporter asked him about the Epstein files. The only reason Epstein was mentioned at all is because Trump himself brought it up to claim he did nothing wrong. That is a failure of the media.

If I had been in that room, I would have asked directly about Trump’s relationship with Epstein and about Howard Lutnick’s relationship with Epstein as well, especially since Lutnick was standing right beside him.

This is exactly why independent media matters. I have reviewed tens of thousands of documents, fought to have disturbing material taken down, and I am not stopping now. Subscribe to support my work.

Here’s the news:

  • Alarm bells are going off in state election offices around the country following Trump’s remarks today. Trump today: “We should take over the voting in at least 15 places. The Republicans ought to nationalize the voting because we have states that are so crooked.”

  • The New York Times has reported that after the FBI’s seizure of 2020 election materials in Fulton County, Donald Trump held an unusually direct phone call with frontline FBI agents—brokered by Tulsi Gabbard—in which he questioned and praised investigators, a move widely criticized by former officials and Democrats as a sharp break from norms that risks politicizing law enforcement, undermining DOJ and FBI independence, and bolstering claims of improper presidential involvement in a criminal investigation tied to Trump’s false 2020 election fraud claims.

  • NBC News has confirmed that Fulton County plans to sue the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Department of Justice, arguing a search warrant executed at its election hub improperly seized hundreds of boxes of original 2020 election ballots, ballot images, and voter rolls—despite a separate court order allowing only copies—raising concerns about legality, chain of custody, and voter data security amid an ongoing federal investigation tied to the 2020 election and claims by Donald Trump.

  • The Wall Street Journal reports that a whistleblower complaint involving Tulsi Gabbard is considered so sensitive it is “locked in a safe,” with the administration spending months trying to determine how to brief United States Congress.

  • Donald Trump said the Department of Justice should move on from the Jeffrey Epstein case, arguing there’s “nothing on me” and criticizing the investigation as a waste of time despite lingering unanswered questions.

  • Todd Blanche is out on Fox News now defending those who partied with Jeffrey Epstein.

  • A federal judge has hauled the DOJ to court this week after the failure to redact the personal information of survivors:

  • This section from the draft Epstein indictment shows individuals who were never charged, despite the DOJ having enough evidence to move forward. The question is why?

  • This Epstein files discussed procuring a yacht for Senator Joe Manchin:

May be an image of ticket stub and text that says 'From: Sent: To: Subject: jeffrey E. <jeevacation@gmail.com> Monday, December 29, 2014 8:33 PM Cecile de Jongh Re: Senator Joe Manchin Right On Monday, December 29, 2014, Cecile de Jong >=wrote: Hi Jeffrey, kmailto: With warm regards, I'm assuming that Andrew Farkas did not get back to you re the yacht fo= Senator Manchin and his family on Jan 2nd so I'm going to confirm tom=rrow with someone else who may have large enough boat that they can use. use.=Thanks. • Newly released Department of Justice Epstein files reveal that FBI investigators believed magician David Copperfield had a “very close relationship” with Jeffrey Epstein, prompting a 2007–2010 FBI probe that examined whether the two may have shared or referred potential victims; internal memos cite overlapping witnesses, complimentary tickets for Epstein, missing records, and concerns about possible illegal activity, though Copperfield was never charged.

  • Ed Martin has been removed as head of the Justice Department’s controversial “weaponization” working group—created under Donald Trump and Attorney General Pam Bondi to scrutinize prosecutors involved in past Trump-related cases—but will remain at DOJ as pardon attorney.

  • After months of resistance, Bill Clinton and Hillary Clinton agreed to be deposed by the House Oversight Committee in the Jeffrey Epstein investigation, as House Republicans move toward criminal contempt resolutions over their earlier noncompliance. In a 2015 email, Epstein claimed that Bill Clinton was never on the island:

  • Kristi Noem announced that all Department of Homeland Security officers deployed to Minneapolis are now being issued body-worn cameras.

May be a Twitter screenshot of text that says 'Secretary Kristi Noem @Sec_Noem just spoke with @RealTomHoman @RealTomHoman @ICEDirector @CBPCommissioner. Effective immediately we are deploying body cameras to every officer in the field in Minneapolis. As funding is available, the body camera program will be expanded nationwide. We will rapidly acquire and deploy body cameras to DHS law enforcement across the country. @POTUS The most transparent administration in American history- thank you Trump. Make America Safe Again'
  • The Star Tribune, eight more federal prosecutors are preparing to leave the Minnesota U.S. Attorney’s Office, following an earlier protest-driven exodus tied to Department of Justice directives, as turmoil grows around immigration enforcement, civil rights decisions, and the fatal shooting of Alex Pretti, while Kristi Noem ordered body cameras for all federal agents in Minnesota and Pam Bondi announced new arrests tied to anti-ICE protests.

  • Turning Point, led by Erika Kirk, announced an alternative Super Bowl halftime show for viewers wanting to avoid the “woke” stadium performance by Bad Bunny, featuring headliner Kid Rock alongside Brantley Gilbert, Lee Brice, and Gabby Barrett.

  • Claudia Sheinbaum pledged to continue sending humanitarian aid—and explore fuel shipments—to Cuba despite pressure from Donald Trump, who threatened tariffs on countries supplying oil to Havana, setting up a diplomatic clash as Mexico balances humanitarian support and domestic politics against U.S. economic coercion and looming trade negotiations.

  • A coalition of immigration advocates and U.S. citizens sued Marco Rubio and the United States Department of State to overturn an order suspending immigrant visa approvals for nationals of 75 countries, arguing the policy—justified by disputed “public charge” claims—amounts to an unlawful, discriminatory nationality-based ban that violates the Constitution and the Immigration and Nationality Act.

See you soon.
