I’m glad to have today’s news brief for you, especially during the Trump regime’s constant chaos. The Dworkin Report is doing much more than just reporting on the madness, and I’m thrilled you’re taking the time to be here.

BILLBOARD BACKS TROOPS

Veterans For Peace put up a billboard in Tucson, Arizona, to amplify a message from Sen. Mark Kelly and other Vets in Congress who released a video urging troops not to follow illegal orders. The billboard reads: “Active Duty and National Guard: I want you to refuse illegal orders,” with a picture of Uncle Sam on the side.

NEWSOM RECONNECTS CALIFORNIA TO WHO

Earlier this week, with no valid reason, Trump officially withdrew the United States from the World Health Organization (WHO). CA Gov. Gavin Newsom responded in less than 24 hours by announcing that California would be the first state to join the WHO’s Global Outbreak Alert & Response Network.

Newsom said Trump made a “reckless decision that will hurt … Americans.” He added: “California will not bear witness to the chaos this decision will bring.” Good—every other governor with a working brain should follow this blueprint.

CROCKETT BRINGS IT

On Wednesday, Dem Rep. Jasmine Crockett introduced the TRACK ICE Act, which would mandate transparency in the regime’s immigration operations. ICE has been using privacy systems to hide deportation flights from the public, but Crockett aims to put an end to that.

“The federal government has operated immigration flights without full transparency,” Crockett said. “These ghost flights are tearing families apart, leaving loved ones in the dark.”

Also this week, Crockett slammed Republicans on the House Oversight Committee for their role in covering up the Epstein files. Crockett said: “You only care about following the rules, so long as you can invoke those rules on … your political enemies.”

DAY OF ACTION AGAINST TRUMP AND ICE

Yesterday’s day of action, sparked by a general strike in Minnesota, exploded into hundreds of marches, rallies, vigils, and other events in dozens of states.

In Minneapolis, countless businesses closed their doors in solidarity as protesters gathered outside the local ICE building. And at Minneapolis-Saint Paul International Airport, religious leaders led a massive demonstration that filled the outside of the departures terminal.

This is what resistance looks like.

Across the country, Americans refuse to normalize the Trump regime’s constant assault on our democracy. This is all part of our growing movement that’s gaining ground every single day. In sub-zero temperatures, snow, sleet, and rain—people are showing up and inspiring millions of others to take a stand.

Someone did a meme with her being Jesus & it was something I wish had gone viral. Yes, my husband and niece and I marched in downtown Minneapolis yesterday. POWER TO THE PEOPLE! I also cheer Rep Crockett's initiative to report all ICE transports and deportations. We need a record of where folks are being sent so we can go get them back if at all possible. They are still rounding up people in other states too. They just are doing it quietly and quickly. ICE is doing “performance” round ups in MN and Maine to emphasize what they do in blue states. TX is just doing it quietly. I was not able to attend any actions in person, but was there in spirit. I love the billboard and would like to see more. We had a wonderful MLK march on Monday, Tuesday thousands marched downtown for ICE OUT, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday we had hundreds at different busy intersections with signs, whistles, and joy --with much horn honking! Sadly, we had ICEholes at an elementary school yesterday, grabbing two people right before the kids were set to go out for recess. They plan to traumatize as many children as they can, not realizing that this is exactly how you make them into resistance fighters. She previously said she believes alien DNA has been used in medicine, according to the BBC. Immanuel, 55, claimed in a 2013 YouTube video that some medical conditions were caused by demons and witches having sex with human beings in their dreams. She doubled down on that claim this week, tweeting a link to her 2013 video and writing: "Yes America! some need deliverance from demon sperm." In the 2013 video, Immanuel says "they turn into a woman and then they sleep with the man and collect his sperm … then they turn into the man and they sleep with a man and deposit the sperm and reproduce more of themselves." https://people.com/politics/donald-trump-says-he-was-impressed-by-doctor-coronavirus-video/ How stupid do you have to be to believe this?  DESANTIS went on to appoint JOE LADAPO, a follower of IMMANUEL, to protect FLORIDA's PUBLIC HEALTH.  When you have STUPID, INCOMPETENT PEOPLE in charge the consequences are predictable.  We only need one or two carriers of diseases to enter the U.S. to start an epidemic.  When patients with EBOLA were brought back to the U.S. under appropriate protective protocol, TRUMP shared his ignorant rant. Doctors understood the TRANSMISSION.  Providing treatment and care in the U.S. added to greater understanding of the disease. YEAH! It's boring SCIENCE!  Several years ago, there was an OUTBREAK OF POLIO in New York.  It was pointed out that POLIO has a long incubation period during which a person is asymptomatic, but contagious - SPREADING THE VIRUS!  RFK JR has made + $10 MILLION from his ANTI-VAX ORGANIZATION and continues spreading his SCIENCE LIES. The LONG TERM HEROIN ADDICT fried his brain or maybe it was the BRAIN WORM...he promoted UNPASTEURIZED MILK from a DAIRY that had AVIAN FLU in their herd. He took his grandkids swimming in a 'pond' contaminated with FECES and marked as such.  RFK JR worked to remove FLUORIDATION from drinking water - NO SCIENCE!  (RFK JR has a lengthy history of STUPIDITY that I've posted elsewhere.) RFK JR is so stupid, he met with the FOOD INDUSTRY to address FOOD ADDITIVES.  Too STUPID or LAZY to look up the food additives or their pronunciation - one is a B VITAMIN used for COLORING, the other is SEAWEED used for thickening.  Much of this defines the PISS POOR SCIENCE EDUCATION in America, as well as the refusal to research FACTS. Just keep watching FOX NEWS = FAKE NEWS LIARS and embrace your ignorance!  TRUMP left office with REFRIGERATED TRAILERS filled with COVID DEAD.  The U.S. per capita DEATH RATE equalled THIRD WORLD COUNTRIES!  DEATH RATES were higher in REPUBLICAN CONTROLLED AREAS. They killed their BASE.  MAGA TAX CUTS FOR THE WEALTHY have destroyed PUBLIC HEALTH, ignoring MATERNAL & INFANT DEATH RATES, among numerous other consequences.  The Snake Oil Salesman DR. OZ is no better and proves it when he speaks.  There's a massive measles outbreak and RFK JR sits on his hands..... USAID was defunded by the STUPID!  It has caused UNTOLD DEATHS due to STUPIDITY and the U.S. will bear the tragic consequences  for this action. Much will likely include destabilizing other nations.  Both WHO and USAID were SELF-PROTECTION!   THE SOLUTION IS SIMPLE: STOP ELECTING STUPID PEOPLE!
