This summer, I took the Trump–Vance administration to court.

They tried to block members of Congress from entering federal immigration detention facilities — from seeing conditions with our own eyes, from asking questions, from doing the oversight the Constitution demands.

We didn’t back down. We sued.

And this week, a federal court ruled clearly and unequivocally: the Trump–Vance administration cannot block Congress from conducting oversight at immigration detention facilities.

That win matters. It means no administration — Republican or Democrat — gets to hide abuse, neglect, or corruption behind locked doors. It means accountability still exists. And it proves something important: when Democrats fight, we can win.

That’s why I’m emailing you today. These wins don’t come cheap. Fighting back against this lawless administration comes with costs. And I’m counting on you to help us stay strong in this fight so that we can continue holding Donald Trump’s feet to the fire.
