An American flag emblazoned with a swastika was found hanging in a Republican congressman’s office this week and apparently it's not the only one. MAGA now claims it was part of an “orchestrated ruse.” A ruse? You’re telling me the staffers who spend half their day staging photo ops didn’t see a Nazi emblem hanging behind them? I mean, look at the damn thing… I’ve heard some sorry excuses in my life, but that one takes the whole damn cake. I understand that MAGA can’t tell the difference between the Stars and Stripes and a swastika but the rest of us surely can. In fact, that’s MAGA’s whole problem. Either they saw it and didn’t care, or they’ve surrounded themselves with people too blind or cowardly to call it out. Both options are poison. Help us flip this seat and send a veteran to Congress that understands you don’t hang that symbol up, you stamp it the hell out. My grandfather’s generation stormed beaches and liberated camps. Now we’ve got a party in power that treats a swastika like misplaced office décor. And where the hell is my opponent Richard Hudson in all this? He’s the chair of the NRCC, the guy supposed to be leading his caucus. Every minute his members spend playing “who hung the Nazi flag,” is time they aren’t focusing on doing their job and opening the government back up. This kind of rot spreads because Hudson and Trump built a party on grievance and fear, and now they act surprised when hate walks right through their front door and pins itself to their walls. Every MAGA talking head who spent years fanning this garbage owns it. Every billionaire MAGA donor who keeps writing checks owns it. And Richard Hudson, as their leader, sure owns it. I served this country in uniform for 24 years, and I’ll be damned if I watch that symbol walk in under the Republican banner.
