This inspiring candidate is just 21 years old

Leaders We Deserve

Hi, I want to tell you about another one of our LWD candidates, someone who gives me real hope for our future: Akbar Ali.

Akbar Ali

At just 21 years old, Akbar’s already running a small business, organizing in his community, and leading as the First Vice Chair of the Gwinnett County Democratic Party.

Now, he’s stepping up again — running in a special election for the Georgia State House. If he wins, he’ll become the youngest elected official in the Georgia General Assembly.

We need leaders like Akbar in power — not ten years from now, but right now.

Can you split a $10 donation between Akbar Ali and Leaders We Deserve today to help him win?

If you've stored your info with ActBlue Express, we'll process your split contribution between Akbar Ali and Leaders We Deserve instantly:

Akbar isn’t running to build a resume. He’s running to get to work.

He knows what it’s like to grow up in a working family, fighting every day for a better future. He’s been on the ground organizing for public education, lowering costs, and building a Georgia where everyone has a shot.

He shows up. He listens. He makes change. That’s the kind of leadership we should expect from every elected official — and it’s why I’m asking you to support him today.

This special election is coming up fast. We’re trying to raise $15,000 this week to help Akbar reach more voters and keep building momentum. Are you with us?

Pitch in $10 to Akbar Ali and Leaders We Deserve right now.

Thank you for standing with us,

David Hogg
