RARE UNITY The entire Colorado Congressional delegation, including 4 GOP House Reps, is pushing back against Trump’s decision to move the Space Force to Alabama. In a joint statement, they wrote: “Moving Space Command … weakens our national security … wastes billions of taxpayer dollars, and hands the advantage to the converging threats of China, Russia, Iran, and North Korea.” BERNIE IN MAINE More than 6,500 people showed up for Sen. Bernie Sanders’ “Fighting Oligarchy” rally on Labor Day in Portland, Maine. Political newcomer Graham Platner, who is running against GOP Sen. Susan Collins, gave a rousing speech and received multiple standing ovations. CHICAGO STAYS LOUD At a press conference yesterday, IL Gov. JB Pritzker blasted Trump for repeating his threat to deploy the National Guard to Chicago. Pritzker said Trump has “surrounded himself with groveling yes-men who are too weak to restrain his most violent and unhinged impulses.” Trump “has no idea what he’s talking about—there is no emergency that warrants deployment of troops.” Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson added: “We need the federal government to stop the endless flow of guns into our state and into our city … occupying our city will do nothing to solve this problem.” SURVIVORS SPEAK OUT Today at 10:30am EST there will be a bipartisan press conference at the Capitol, expecting up to 100 survivors of Epstein’s abuse. It will be hosted by Dem Rep. Ro Khanna and GOP Rep. Thomas Massie. Massie also filed a discharge petition yesterday, which would force a vote on releasing files related to Epstein. The White House responded by saying this was a “very hostile act” against the regime, pressuring Republicans to vote against it. In an effort to appease Trump, the GOP-led House Oversight Committee released more than 33,000 pages of Epstein files—but it contained almost no new information. Their cover-up is failing miserably.
