Sign the petition: Trump's phony document dump can't hide from the truth. Release the Epstein files!

TELL CONGRESS: Reps. Ro Khanna and Thomas Massie stood with survivors and advocates today to demand that the Trump admin release the Epstein files. While Trump and Speaker Johnson continue blocking the release of information on Epstein’s crimes, the U.S. House can force a vote for transparency and accountability. Sign the petition: Force a vote on releasing the Epstein files!

Today, Reps. Ro Khanna and Thomas Massie joined survivors, advocates and other lawmakers at a press conference to call loudly and bravely for the full release of the Epstein files.1

Survivors spoke out about their abuse at the hands of Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell, their trauma and pain, and their demands for justice. One survivor spoke directly to the pain that Trump is causing by calling their campaign for truth a “hoax.”2 They all called for a full release of what the government knows about Epstein’s crimes, in order to hold their abusers accountable.

While Trump and Speaker Johnson continue hiding information and distracting the public with phony resolutions and document dumps, Reps. Khanna and Massie are leading a discharge petition to end the cover-up and bring full transparency to the public.

Sign the petition: Tell your U.S. Representative to sign the discharge petition and force a vote on releasing the Epstein files!

We already know that Trump and Epstein were close friends, that Trump’s name was redacted multiple times in the Epstein files, and that Trump loyalists have scrambled to block the release of the files.4,5 The discharge petition would force a vote and finally show the public what Trump is hiding.

A lawyer for the survivors, Brad Edwards, said “Corruption flourishes in secrecy.” One survivor said it’s time to “lift the curtain on these files.” After decades, survivors and the public have a right to a full record of Epstein’s crimes and all of the powerful abusers involved in his sexual abuse ring.

If enough lawmakers sign on to the bipartisan Khanna-Massie discharge petition, the measure must be brought to a full floor vote. We must flood U.S. House offices with messages urging them to sign on and force the vote.

Sign the petition: Urge your U.S. Representative to sign the discharge petition and support the release of the Epstein files!

Thanks for taking action,

Joey and the Demand Progress team
