Last week, FBI Director Kash Patel testified in front of the U.S. House about the Epstein files — and continued the Trump administration’s efforts to hide information on Epstein’s crimes.
Patel claimed that judges are blocking the release of some key documents. But the judges disagree, and are calling out the White House’s “hurried efforts” to “confuse the public.”1 One U.S. District Court judge said the Trump administration's move to limit the release of certain grand jury material is a “diversion from the breadth and scope of the Epstein files in the government’s possession.”2
Rep. Thomas Massie, one of the lawmakers leading the discharge petition to force a vote in Congress on releasing the files, said, “I believe that Trump is trying to protect rich and powerful people who are his friends, and that is why this material is not getting released.”3 Trump is also trying to protect himself. Our lawmakers must end this cover-up immediately.
Sign the petition: Don’t let Trump hide. Force a House vote to release the Epstein files!
Trump has called the push to release the Epstein files a “scam” and a “hoax.”4
He even filed a $10 billion defamation lawsuit against the Wall Street Journal for the newspaper’s reporting on Trump’s note to his good friend in Epstein’s birthday book. Now, that note has been released by House Democrats and the Wall Street Journal has asked the court to dismiss the lawsuit.5 It’s yet another example of how Trump is doing everything he can to block the public release of more information about Jeffrey Epstein’s crimes and accomplices.
Patel, Trump, Speaker Johnson, Pam Bondi, and Trump’s full cast of MAGA loyalists are scrambling to stop the release of the Epstein files. But the House is close to forcing a vote. It’s critical that lawmakers that haven’t signed the discharge petition hear from constituents immediately, and that all representatives hear the public outcry for the release of the files.
Sign the petition: Urge your U.S. Representative to force a vote on releasing the Epstein files!
