Voters are furious, and this race has emerged as ground zero in the fight to defend health care access and defeat the GOP’s extremist, corporate-first agenda.
The good news is that Valadao’s district is one of the most flippable in the country. It’s swung for Democrats in the past, and 2026 represents the best shot we’ve ever had to oust Valadao for good.
Democrat Randy Villegas, a 30-year-old college professor and son of immigrants, is running to unseat Valadao -- and he’s not taking a dime from corporate PACs. Randy has deep roots in the Central Valley, a strong local base of support, and a real shot at flipping this seat.
