I am from Québec, Canada, where a lot of aluminum is made because we have cheaper electricity. The president of the aluminum industry council just confirmed today that exports of aluminum to the United States were stable and that US importés were paying the tariffs. The simple reason is the US produces 650,000 tons but need 5 million tons to manufacture cars, cans, appliances, etc. Well done orange clown!
