It was the first African American woman to ever hold the position. A woman by the name of Carla Hayden, she only had one year left on her term. And then Donald Trump was gonna be able to appoint somebody else to a 10 year term, 'cause that's how long they serve. But Trump didn't wanna wait a year. He said, hell no. We got a black woman in the Library of Congress. Get her out right now. And you are kidding yourselves, if you don't think that Trump did this 100% because she is a black woman. That is the reason, but not according to Caroline Levitt. According to Caroline Levitt, this librarian of Congress was giving out inappropriate books to children in her library because Caroline Levitt doesn't know what the Library of Congress is. Uh, we felt she did not fit the deans of the American people. Um, there were quite concerning things that she had done at the Library of Congress in the pursuit of DEI and, uh, putting inappropriate books in the library for children. And we don't believe that. Um, she was serving the interest of the American taxpayer wealth.
So I'm assuming by DEI, of course she means it's a black woman, obviously, DEI, she gotta go. Um, even though there's been no complaints about how she's done her job for the eight years, she's been doing it nine years, actually. Um, yeah, no complaints, no problems. Library of Congress running the way it should, but she's DEI. So she's gotta go. And by the way, you go into her library, you go into the kids section, uh, there's like totally inappropriate books. And she was just giving 'em out to the kids who are coming into the library because the Library of Congress in Caroline Levitt's mind is just a regular library, right? Kinda like your little neighborhood library down the street. You can just walk in and out anytime as long as they're open, you know, take your books up to the counter, check 'em out, Carla Hayden's, scanning them with the barcode, sending you on your way.
No, that is not what the Library of Congress is. The Library of Congress is not a place where you can just walk into, check out a book and head out. But that's what Caroline Levitt thinks. She thinks this is just a normal library. The Library of Congress is more akin to what would be called a research library. It houses millions of documents, millions of books, and it is used by members of Congress for research purposes. Now, members of the public can of course, go into the library if you are pre-approved and have a free timed entry ticket. So you have to fill out a form and get permission to go in there. And you can only go in at the allotted time that your timed entry ticket is for. And that's just to go inside. Oh, and by the way, you have to be at least 16 years old.
