The minute I heard Tesla uses cameras instead of any form of ranging sensors, I knew how this was going to play out. Just so everyone understands, this is a level of stupidity akin to OceanGate. The corruption between President Trump and Musk is depressing. The job's not finished until the stock reaches $0. Being immune from investigation is, perhaps, the most compelling reason to never buy a Tesla. I prefer purchasing vehicles manufactured by companies that are held accountable for their failures. Buying a car from a drug addict has never been a good idea . And investing in a drug addict is also a bad idea . Having owned a Tesla (and sold it after Musk went nuts), I can tell you I experienced this daily. Stop/start traffic was the most nerve-wracking thing in my model 3, and I ended up just turning off the autopilot and driving myself. The car almost crashed itself multiple times. Now wrap your head around the fact the cyber truck has the same tech, but weight 7000 lbs and is a battering ram ending anyone they hit. There's a very good reason the Cyber Tanks have been banned in most countries other than the USA. They have "real" regulatory agencies that actually try to protect the driving public. Monday's volatility followed a global sell-off earlier in the day, as concerns mounted over the potential impact of the tariffs, which Trump claims will help revive U.S. manufacturing jobs. What People Are Saying Dan Ives, global head of technology research at Wedbush Securities and a Tesla bull, said Monday: "The winner in our view from this tariff is no one...as even Tesla still is clearly hit from these tariffs and will be forced to raise prices." Musk said in Wisconsin over the weekend: "It's costing me a lot to be in this job. What they're trying to do is put massive pressure on me, and Tesla, I guess, to stop doing this. My Tesla stock and the stock of everyone who holds Tesla has gone in half. It's a big deal." What Happens Next Market volatility will likely continue as the Trump administration plans to roll out a new set of steep tariffs on April 2, a day the president described as "liberation day" for the U.S. economy.
