She’s 67 and Collins is 72. Afraid of what? Giving up privilege? At this point in her and Collins’ careers I say—stand up and risk your damn jobs and switch parties. The rest of us are afraid that we will lose everything we worked for and our freedom because of the dude you keep enabling. Don’t tell me you are afraid—do something!
Let’s remember, this could have all been avoided multiple times. It was the Republicans who brought this monster to power. It was the Republicans who had two bites at the apple to prohibit this monster from taking office after two impeachments. It was the Republicans who decided this monster should stay on the ballot. It was the Republicans who decided this monster should have immunity. It was the Republicans who nerfed the meaning, intention, and guardrail of section 3 of the 14th amendment to prohibit this monster from entering office again. It’s been the Republicans that have acquiesced to this monster at every turn. I’m absolutely disinterested in any claim of fear on their part. Against all warnings and rationale, they brought this evil plague upon our nation. DO YOUR JOBS AND REIGN IN THIS MONSTER! NO MORE DAMN EXCUSES!
