Trump Just Suffered These Big Losses Onward. Scott Dworkin Feb 8 On Friday there were some big losses for Trump that bruised his ego, and at least helped stall his Project 2025 agenda. Let’s start with TIME Magazine’s cover image, featuring Elon Musk sitting behind the Resolute Desk. Donald was clearly furious it wasn’t him on the cover. When asked about it, Trump responded by trying to joke his way out of it: “Is TIME Magazine still in business?” Elon and Trump are barreling toward each other on a collision course. Their falling out is inevitable, and I can’t wait to see it. In court, a judge blocked Trump’s USAID employee purge, and reinstated the 500 employees who had already been put on leave. It’s not permanent, so things will still need to play out, but it’s a step in the right direction. Another judge stopped Trump’s government employee buyout scam—at least for now. Four labor unions—representing nearly 1 million federal employees—requested the order, arguing that the buyouts were unlawful and dangerous. We just launched our campaign to support the bill that stops anyone from stealing our Treasury data. In a matter of days, we’ve made thousands of calls, and sent more than 10,000 letters to Congress. That brings our total, in less than 3 months, past 152,000 letters delivered! Also, I know a lot of folks are worried that Republicans will cut Medicare, Medicaid, and Social Security. So we’re going on offense and starting a separate effort, to make sure maga knows we won’t stand for it.
