Israel killed another group of World Central Kitchen aid workers in Gaza in a recent airstrike.¹

The United States has supported Israel’s war on the people of Gaza with weapons and funding — even as journalists, aid workers, and tens of thousands of civilians are killed. Peace can’t wait, and our government should be trying to end this violence before Trump takes office.

This week, Trump said that there will be “hell to pay” if hostages aren’t released ahead of his inauguration.² He’s told Netanyahu before to “do what you have to do” on the battlefield.³

If President Biden continues to support Netanyahu’s war, Trump will further intensify the war on Palestinians and the threat of wider war with Iran.

Over 44,000 Palestinians have been killed in Israel’s onslaught on Gaza — even so-called humanitarian zones are not safe for civilians. Israel has made it difficult, and impossible at times, to deliver humanitarian aid. If our leaders want to end this war, stop a wider war with Iran, and halt the murder of so many innocent people, the Biden administration and Congress must act right now.
