"Conservative commentator Meghan McCain blamed Democrats for President-elect Donald Trump’s nomination of Robert F. Kennedy Jr to be Secretary of Health and Human Services on Thursday.
After the president-elect announced he would be nominating Kennedy, McCain wrote, “RFK is going to be HHS as a direct result of democrats and Fauchi [sic] blatantly lying to mothers in this country, putting our children second behind adults and radicalizing them during COVID.”
During the Covid-19 pandemic, McCain was a vocal critic of National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases director Dr. Anthony Fauci, who helped lead Trump’s White House Coronavirus Task Force."
