A House hearing on UFOs went completely off the rails this week when Republican Representative Lauren Boebert appeared to suffer some kind of psychotic breakdown when she was allowed to speak. Boebert began joking that "birds are government drones," that "we never stepped foot on the moon", and that "the earth is flat." No one in the room laughed at her statement, and instead they all seemed concerned and confused about what was happening. Farron Cousins discusses this genuinely bizarre incident.
