With your help, we’ll turn a moment of warmongering into a moment for hope.

The violence and suffering we’ve witnessed over the past 368 days is almost too much to fathom. Tens of thousands of people have been killed, millions have had to flee from their homes, and as the Israeli government intensifies attacks on Lebanon, Gaza, and the West Bank, there seems to be no end in sight.

But in the face of so much pain, it’s important to remember that we don’t work alone. Amongst our community are peacemakers who never stop building the future we KNOW is possible.

For nearly a year now, Win Without War has been working with incredible colleagues at three other organizations: Standing Together, Combatants for Peace, and Families Forum, which you can read more about below. The simple truth is that we can’t create the change we need to truly keep people in Palestine, Israel, Lebanon, or the United States safe without partners like them.

In honor of heroes like these, who work day and night to keep people safe, we’re re-issuing an urgent challenge to this incredible community. With your help, we’ll turn a moment of warmongering into a moment of hope by raising $15,000 to build pathways to peace across Israel, Palestine, and beyond.

At moments like these, the heroes described below allow me to continue to hope — to continue to believe that peace is possible:

  • Sally, a Palestinian, and Alon-Lee, who is Jewish, who founded Standing Together. This group of peace activists is — in the face of threats, harassment, and personal risk — speaking out and organizing Arab-Jewish solidarity groups and rallies across Israel. The New York Times has described their work as a path to build “enough popular political will to demand peace.”
  • Parents Circle – Families Forum is a joint Israeli-Palestinian organization of people who have lost close family members to the conflict. The Forum has over 700 families, and more have joined since October 7. These individuals confront the grief and horror of this war daily, but they choose reconciliation over retribution, and call on others to do the same.
  • Combatants for Peace is a joint Palestinian-Israeli community made up of former Israeli and Palestinian fighters, refuseniks, and non-violent activists working in solidarity to end the occupation, discrimination, and oppression — and co-creating a just peace. Their co-founder Avner shared why their work is so critical: “When people are fed with the idea that there is no choice but violence, there is only violence, to each other.” That’s why they choose solutions based on non-violence and human dignity.

These people are, in the face of losing everything, building a world where people in Israel, Palestine, and beyond can have dignity while living and thriving without the fear of violence.

Our team at Win Without War is honored to work alongside them in this critical moment — because we know that the impossible becomes achievable when we work together. But ‘together’ also includes you. Through emails like this, our community has raised just over $36,500 for our four organizations since December. And together, we can reach $50,000 RIGHT NOW.

After so much violence and heartbreak, it can be hard to see a way out. But thanks to the tireless work of people like Sally, Alon-Lee, Avner, and you, I feel so much hope. When we work together, we can make the impossible possible. It’s an honor to push toward peace alongside you all.

Thank you for working for peace,

The Win Without War team
