Just hours before Hurricane Milton's landfall, Florida state troopers found a dog tied to a fence. The dog faced drowning in the rising floodwaters and the dog's owner, who allegedly left him tied to the fence, was nowhere in sight. Authorities say Giovanni Aldama Garcia told them he tied the dog to the fence before fleeing the hurricane, because he couldn't find anyone to pick up his dog.
