"Akron police are investigating a mass shooting that happened early Sunday morning in the area of Kelly and 8th Avenues. As officers were heading to the scene, hospital staff reported multiple people were arriving at the emergency rooms with gunshot wounds. According to police, a total of 27 people were shot, and a 27-year-old man was killed. Neighbors told 19 News (Cleveland) the shootings took place at a very large birthday party."
