We have a quick finance update.

Yesterday, we set a goal to raise $25,000 by tomorrow's end-of-quarter deadline. With just one day to go, we're running 12% short.

After midnight tomorrow, we'll have to publicly report our fundraising totals for this quarter — and our opponent will be looking at our Federal Election Commission (FEC) filing to assess the strength of our campaign. Summer is busy meeting with key stakeholders and voters, and this is the last thing we want her to worry about.

We know this grassroots team has exceeded expectations before, so we're counting on you again. We couldn't be more thankful for your past generous giving to Summer, but with our end-of-quarter deadline tomorrow, we need to ask:

Establishment groups and corporate PACs have set their eyes on defeating progressive women of color, including Summer, this election cycle. Already, Summer has faced $4.5 million in attack ads — and more are headed our way.
