Why we need to defeat anti-choice Henry Cuellar

 

We can’t count on the Supreme Court to protect our constitutional right to abortion. We need strong advocates in Congress to fight to codify Roe v. Wade now.

Henry Cuellar was the only Democrat to vote with Republicans against codifying Roe v. Wade. I will always stand for our health care and the right to choose. In 20 days, I face off against Cuellar in our primary runoff.

Let’s defeat the last anti-choice Democrat in the U.S. House. Split a contribution to my campaign and Justice Democrats today so we can oust Henry Cuellar in 20 days.

With the future of abortion rights on the line in Texas and nationally, we need progressive champions in Congress who will fight to codify Roe v. Wade by passing legislation to ensure that all people have unfettered access to abortion care, and who will repeal the Hyde Amendment to make abortion more affordable and accessible. That’s why I’m taking on anti-choice Henry Cuellar.

While this is a dark time, we cannot despair. We have to fight for reproductive justice once and for all. But as long as anti-choice Democrats like Henry Cuellar remain in power, abortion rights will remain on the chopping block. His anti-choice record speaks for himself and we’re done with politicians like Cuellar legislating against our control of our own bodies.

We have the last word on May 24th to defeat the last anti-choice Democrat in the House. Texas deserves better than Henry Cuellar. Donate now to my campaign and Justice Democrats.
