We need all hands on deck.
A third challenger has officially entered the race to unseat Jamaal in the upcoming election.
As we work closer towards the end of the quarter — and more importantly, the June primary — every single one of our opponents will be looking at our quarterly fundraising to determine the strength of our campaign. Can we count on you to rush a $15 donation to our campaign right now to show this new challenger the true strength and security of our support for Jamaal?
The new challenger has made a point to challenge Jamaal's effectiveness in bringing change to our district. They claim that Jamaal is "divisive" because he stands up for the most disenfranchised in our communities and causes problems for those defending the status quo.
Despite claims and criticism, we know how impactful Jamaal and our movement has been during his time in office. Jamaal has introduced and advanced 21 pieces of legislation and cosponsored over 500 bills. And in 2021, Jamaal secured over $214,446,178 for NY-16, including $6,000,000 to fight back against gun violence, and $56,397,952 for small businesses and restaurants.
The key to our success — especially with a new district and establishment challengers — is early preparation. So we can't afford to fall short on our fundraising like last month. Please help us show the true strength of our campaign and support for Jamaal by rushing a donation of $15 or anything you are able so that we can continue to grow our movement.
In solidarity,
Bowman for Congress
