One of the biggest drivers of the climate crisis

 

Methane emissions are one of the biggest drivers of the climate crisis. That’s why Martin has worked so hard to advance legislation to cut these harmful emissions. He’s led the charge to pass bipartisan legislation to cut methane emissions, an effort President Biden signed into law last year. It was the most significant action Congress has taken on climate in over a decade. And he attended last year’s COP26 global climate summit to address the climate crisis and continue to tackle the hard work ahead. This was when the U.S. announced big plans to combat climate change by cutting methane emissions in oil and gas operations. It will truly take all of us coming together to make sure we cut methane emissions and address the climate emergency with the urgency it requires.
