Working people across America fought to get Trump out of the White House and elect President Biden. But once again, Biden is choosing to negotiate against the people’s interests by courting Republican votes on an infrastructure package.
Biden’s compromises would be at the expense of necessary, urgent, and popular investments — and would also include concessions to keep Trump’s tax cuts for corporations and the 1%.
We can’t let Republicans and corporations dictate the scope of our infrastructure package. That is why Justice Democrats in Congress are leading the fight against Biden’s compromises on the infrastructure package in order to deliver meaningful investments for the American people. Will you stand with Justice Democrats in Congress as they hold President Biden accountable by chipping in $10?
As corporate profits soar at the expense of the American people, we need a big and bold infrastructure plan to ensure everyone has health care, education, and quality infrastructure. Biden’s compromises would mean a watered-down bill that would fail to meet the urgency of this moment.
The time to act is now, but the path forward to a big and bold infrastructure plan is being obstructed by corporate Democrats willing to concede on our collective values.
