1. STATE OF THE RACE: South Carolina has never seen anything like Jaime Harrison’s campaign for U.S. Senate. Jaime has built a massive grassroots campaign backed by thousands of volunteers and grassroots donors. These folks are inspired by his aspirational story and our optimistic campaign. And together, we raised more in the month of August than Lindsey did in the ENTIRE second quarter [!!!] Because of all the progress we’ve made, nonpartisan experts at the Cook Political Report and RealClearPolitics have UPGRADED Jaime’s chances of winning! Our fundraising has been powered by more than 1 million donations from over 500,000 individual donors.

2. HOW WE WIN:

In the past few months, we’ve aired multiple ads highlighting both Jaime’s story growing up in Orangeburg, South Carolina and the need for strong, honest leadership for our state during the coronavirus pandemic.

As our grassroots momentum grows, we’re investing in every type of voter, taking no one for granted, and communicating with folks no Democrat has ever reached before.

We’re also investing heavily in boosting voter turnout so we can build a winning coalition in South Carolina.

Jaime’s unique story and message of hope and opportunity is putting this race in play. The latest poll even shows Jaime TIED with Lindsey Graham!

3. LINDSEY’S SUPPORT IN SOUTH CAROLINA:

This is already a competitive race, and Sen. Graham's record of not fighting for South Carolina is catching up with him.

His deeply cynical brand of politics has opened up a major weakness that we see in every poll -- South Carolinians just don’t trust Lindsey Graham any more.

Voters are seeing that after 25 years in Washington, Lindsey Graham has changed. He doesn’t believe in anything except his own self-interest.

Instead of fighting for working people, Graham plays political games and fights for himself and the powerful -- he’ll do anything to advance his political career.

Jaime, on the other hand, is committed to the people of South Carolina. He’ll be a true fighter for everyday, working folks who Lindsey is all too happy to ignore.
