As if there wasn’t enough chaos coming out of the Trump administration, yesterday we learned that Attorney General Bill Barr is once again using the Department of Justice (DOJ) in order to protect the personal interests of President Trump. Trump is facing a defamation lawsuit from writer E. Jean Carroll who states that the president defamed her following her accusations that Trump sexually assaulted her in the mid-1990s. There are more than two dozen credible sexual assault allegations against Trump. After the White House asked the Department of Justice to step in and defend Trump, Barr delivered, once again using his authority to intervene and protect Trump at all costs. Clearly, Trump’s donors are getting sick of footing his legal bills. And we all know Trump isn’t going to pay them himself. But the Department of Justice represents the American people, not Donald Trump.  I don’t say this lightly, but Bill Barr is the worst Attorney General in our nation’s history. He should resign. Now. If you agree, add your name alongside mine to demand Barr resign and end this disgraceful conduct. Thanks for speaking up,It’s time to give the American people an Attorney General who will truly fight for justice, not one who uses his power and wields the department to defend the worst president in U.S. history at all costs.
