While we’re waiting for the official election results from the NYC Board of Elections, I have some exciting news to share with you: just moments ago, Eliot Engel just called me to concede the race, securing our victory. I’m honored to be the Democratic nominee from New York’s 16th District for Congress.
I also wanted to take this moment to specifically thank AOC, her team, and her supporters for showing our grassroots campaign love and enthusiasm. Together, we’ve done incredible work together over the past year – none of which wouldn’t have been possible without you.

The primary may be behind us, but our fight has just begun. We’re now looking towards making sure we’re set up to win in November’s general election, continuing conversations with constituents, in-depth policy research, supporting other progressives in upcoming key primaries, and so much more.
