Trump modified his original comment to include the word "applications."
But at his press conference this afternoon, he STILL claimed Michigan's Secretary of State was sending out BALLOTS and that she was somehow acting illegally.
None of what Trump claims is true.
But he again threatened to withhold federal funding if Michigan (and Nevada) went ahead with plans for mail-in voting.
This, of course, despite the fact that TRUMP himself mails in his vote.
Trump doesn't get to decide if states adopt mail-voting or not.
So, he's trying to bully them.
Sure, it's illegal, but who's going to stop him? Susan Collins? Mitch McConnell?
Yeah.
You still think a guy who would engage in such brazen extortion as Trump is openly doing right here, WOULDN'T demand quid pro quo from a foreign nation?
