Alec Baldwin is convinced that only “mentally ill” Americans will vote for President Trump’s reelection in November.

The liberal actor-activist pivoted from his 2019 stance that voters took “poison pills of racist hatred” before voting for Mr. Trump, now maintaing that millions will pull the lever for the Republican due to mental illness.

“Trump has reached for, and nearly gained, a control of the federal govt unrivaled by other Presidents,” he tweeted Wednesday. “He fired huge numbers of govt professionals. He steamrolled the Congress, whenever possible. And now this [criticism of the World Health Organization]. If you vote for Trump again, you are mentally ill.”

The actor’s previous tweet included an article by The New York Times on the president’s willingness to give WHO funding “a good look” in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic.

“The W.H.O. really blew it,” Mr. Trumptweeted Tuesday. “For some reason, funded largely by the United States, yet very China-centric. We will be giving that a good look. Fortunately, I rejected their advice on keeping our borders open to China early on. Why did they give us such a faulty recommendation?”

Mr. Baldwin’s rhetoric in recent months has also included the claim that Mr. Trump is a greater threat than the contagion.

“The pandemic that threatens the world is Trump,” Mr. Baldwintweeted Feb. 29.

“The virus in the US began in January of 2017 [SIC]. The vaccine arrives in November,” he added March 31.

Donald Trump is one of the cheapest millionaires in the history of millionaires. From shortchanging his employees to flat out stiffing the contractor’s bill multiple times, leading to thousands of lawsuits, Trump is a man who will do anything to keep a buck.

That includes taking full advantage of the coronavirus relief funds being doled out to states and counties around the nation.

That’s right..

The Trump Organization just asked Palm Beach County in Florida to help pay the $88,338 rent for Trump’s local golf resort.

The Palm Beach Post reports:

“Like other Palm Beach County businesses, the president’s golf club has been forced to close as the pandemic plays out. But there is that one major difference: The club is owned by the President of the United States, the commander-in-chief who made the call of when the country shut down and who will make the call on when America opens up for business again.”

The newspaper was able to get ahold of an email written by the finance director at both Mar-a-Lago and Trump International Golf Club, Ed Raymundo, who wrote:

“This mandate has resulted in the cancellation of events and forced the Club to close many of it’s (cq) amenities leaving limited services available to our members.

In addition, with many New York based members, the Governor’s most recent order requiring individuals traveling from the tri-state area to self-quarantine further hampers our operation. Your direction in this is greatly appreciated.”

These are the two clubs Trump has spent most of his time as president at, but make no mistake, the president of the United States, a millionaire, does not need help paying the rent on his posh resort.

The newspaper reported:

“Of the three golf clubs Trump owns in South Florida, including Trump National Doral Florida and, Trump National Golf Club in Jupiter, the golf club in West Palm Beach, is by far his most frequented. Just a few miles from Mar-a-Lago, the president’s private club in Palm Beach, Trump has spent 83 of the 127 days he has visted Mar-a-Lago at Trump International.Trump hosts his annual Super Bowl party at the club and has played there with golf legends, political allies and White House aides.”

As I read this article my mouth fell open with shock! To get the economy moving again Trump asked his team why the government just doesn’t allow the virus to wash over the country ! Faucci realized Trump was serious that saving lives was less important than saving the economy. Trump argued that more people would die from a weak economy than the pandemic. Now , I truly understand Trump’s cry the “cure cannot be worse than the problem itself! Trump continuously demonstrates he spirit is evil !

Trump Reportedly Weighed Letting COVID-19 ‘Wash Over’ U.S., But Was Warned Of Grim Toll

“Mr. President, many people will die,” he was told by Dr. Anthony Fauci, according to The Washington Post.

President Donald Trump asked his top health adviser last month why officials couldn’t simply let COVID-19 “wash over the country,” infecting people, The Washington Post reported Saturday.

In his haste to jumpstart the economy, Trump posed a frightening scenario to Dr. Anthony Fauci during a task force meeting in the Situation Room. No COVID-19 countermeasures would be taken so that people would quickly become infected, with some recovering to create a protective herd immunity, sources told the newspaper.

“Why don’t we let this wash over the country?” Trump asked, a question others told the Post the president has raised repeatedly in the Oval Office. Fauci, the head of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, realized with surprise that Trump was serious, the Post reported. 

“Mr. President,” Fauci responded, according to the Post. “Many people would die.”

Trump’s public comments during that time also indicate he was considering such a scenario to get the economy moving again — despite the toll. He said repeatedly that the “cure cannot be worse than the problem itself,” implying that saving lives could be less important than saving the economy. He has claimed without evidence that more people would die from a weak economy than from a pandemic.

Last month Texas Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick on Fox News, a supportive sounding board for the the president’s policies, also raised the startling fringe notion that “lots of grandparents out there” are willing to take a chance against COVID-19 to save the economy. Patrick, 70, said he would put his own survival on the line for “keeping the America that all Americans love.”

Another populist leader, British Prime Minister Boris Johnson, also early last month raised a “theory” about Britons “taking it on the chin, take it all in one go and allow the disease ... to move through the population."

Johnson at that time didn’t think it was such a bad idea for Britons to attend mass sports events. This month Johnson landed in intensive care after testing positive for COVID-19. He’s no longer in intensive care but remains hospitalized, 

Johnson enacted social distancing guidelines later last month after an Imperial College report predicted a 250,000 death toll in Britain — and up to a 1.2 million tally in the U.S. — if strict social distancing and isolation measures weren’t taken.
