Donald Trump's lawyers may think that they are doing him justice by urging courts to either accept a lower bond payment for his lawsuit appeals, but what they are really doing is humiliating him by admitting to the courts that he doesn't have the money to pay the judgments. This isn't just bad for him legally, but it is devastating for him politically because it shows that the entire "rich guy" persona that he has spent decades cultivating is largely a myth, and that could certainly turn off some of his supporters.
