IMPORTANT ISSUES! THESE ARE NOT SOLICITATIONS
Thanks to your support I get to dig through the court orders and depositions nobody else opens. Here's one from this week: the FEMA cuts a judge just ruled illegal were built on a number the court found was picked first and justified later. If you want to do more, please upgrade—we have a goal of five new Founding Members by tomorrow night. Or gift a subscription to someone who needs great news like this in their inbox every day:
Eight Wins For Us That Trump Tried To Bury
His own judge killed his scheme, FEMA’s cuts stopped, the Kennedy Center still isn’t named after him—and five more.
Thanks so much for taking the time to join me today. Go ahead and pour your coffee, or whatever you’re drinking, and pull up a seat. I’ve got eight great stories for you today—eight wins for us that are big losses for the Trump regime.
Before we jump in, hit the like button and restack this edition. Someone you know might only see the lies from the MAGA propaganda machine. You can be the one to show them the regime is losing.
And if you’re not yet a paid subscriber, come on board. We have no ads and no billionaires here. We’re reader-funded journalists who don’t just cover the resistance—we lead it. Join us.
A Trump Judge Said No
The Trump regime wrote a Postal Service rule that would’ve let them refuse to deliver ballots over a wave of new procedural requirements. Trump-appointed federal judge Carl Nichols blocked the rule last weekend. The next day, the Supreme Court refused to lift a separate block on it. Mail ballots go out under the same rules. Trump lost again.
FEMA Cuts Blocked
DHS pushed FEMA to cut its workforce roughly in half. Federal Judge Susan Illston ruled the plan was illegal, and DHS never had the authority to make that decision. FEMA is still standing.
No Texas County Can Do It Again
Galveston County redrew its precinct lines in June, just three months after the primary vote. The Texas Supreme Court ordered November run on the old map instead. Now, no county in Texas can redraw district lines in the middle of an ongoing election.
Academic Freedom Restored
Two weeks after Trump’s order to service academies, West Point required civilian professors to get approval before speaking or publishing as faculty. Professor Tim Bakken sued over it. Federal Judge Cathy Seibel found it to be unconstitutional. She made the injunction permanent. The policy is dead.
ICE Blocked
ICE’s plan for a holding facility outside Gilroy, California, has been halted by federal Judge Eumi Lee, who found the regime likely skipped a legally required environmental review. The injunction holds as long as the case runs, which is expected to take years.
His Name Still Isn’t On It
Trump’s board voted to put his name on the Kennedy Center and rename the grounds after him. Federal Judge Christopher Cooper blocked both, reminding the regime that Congress barred new memorials there. It’s the second time since May he’s ruled against them. The only name on the building now is Kennedy’s.
Judge Stops Trump Visa Rule
Trump’s rule would’ve capped student and scholar visas at four years, and foreign journalists at 240 days, forcing everyone to reapply after that instead of staying as long as their program ran. Judge F. Dennis Saylor IV blocked it nationwide one day before it was set to take effect, finding it failed the law in multiple respects. Everyone kept the old rules.
Trump’s Order Vacated
The Energy Department ordered Michigan’s J.H. Campbell coal plant to stay open after state regulators and the grid operator had already approved closing it—then ordered it again five more times. A unanimous DC Circuit panel vacated the first order. The state’s Attorney General Dana Nessel brought the case.
If I can leave you with anything today, it’s this. Through all of the darkness, the light I see at the end of this tunnel has only gotten brighter thanks to our readers here. When you could be doing anything else, you chose this—the fight. You chose the truth. You chose to be the person who keeps showing up. In the end, that’s who is going to save our country—us.
My promise to you is the same I gave on election night 2024: that I will never give this regime an inch. I will never look away. And I will always shine a light on the regime until they are held accountable for everything they’ve done.
Their propaganda machine is loud—but we’re louder, and stronger. And when history is written about the last decade, the work we’ve done together will be in every chapter of it.
We don’t just cover the resistance, we help lead it. We run investigations corporate media will never touch. We drive pressure campaigns on Congress that have put more than 856,000 official letters on desks on Capitol Hill—on top of countless calls—since November 2024.
Our infrastructure was made to win, but we need all hands on deck. So if you haven’t yet, join us as we sprint through the midterms—and beyond:

Constituent pressure is rattling the regime on three fronts. 6,200+ against Hegseth, 14,100+ to save Yosemite, and the fight to ban rogue AI. Hit all three:

JUST A FEW OF MANY INFORMED COMMENTS:
Eight different rooms — a Trump judge, the Texas Supreme Court, a professor who wouldn’t ask permission — all said the same thing: they don’t get to skip the law just because they’re loud.
That’s the part they need you tired enough to miss. Don’t miss it.
The best way to start a Saturday morning, right here at the Dworkin Report! ❤️
When we fight, we win. Keep fighting.
All great to keep the momentum going strong! Another win in RI where the judge ruled that DonOld's administration's effort to shut down a solar program for lower income people is illegal -- a big win where utilities are costing more as winter draws closer. Thanks for making the weekend brighter and less stressed, Scott! Have a great weekend, too!

Here’s another Win.
A federal judge in Rhode Island has ruled that the Trump administration illegally terminated a $7 billion Solar for All program intended to make solar power accessible to more than 900,000 lower-income Americans. The Environmental Protection Agency rescinded the Solar for All funds in August 2025 after President Donald Trump’s massive tax and spending law passed in Congress a month earlier. Administrator Lee Zeldin called the program a “boondoggle.” District Judge Mary McElroy wrote in Friday’s ruling that Congress clearly intended for the EPA to continue administering the Solar for All grants that were already obligated. She says the EPA acted contrary to this intent. The Rhode Island AFL-CIO called the decision a big victory for states across the country.
As Trump demonstrates significant cognitive decline, we can expect more irrational decisions which must be blocked!
RON FILIPKOWSKI posts daily news: Today in Politics, Bulletin 461. 9/18/26 and the reports of cognitive decline grow.
Like this comment:
… Trump explained his tariff rationale: “If we buy 2 billion dollars worth of Bananas from Brazil, we’re actually losing 2 billion dollars. So if we stop eating bananas, we actually save 2 billion dollars.”
… People said we needed a businessman as president. I’m not so sure that’s working out right now.
I think the FEMA win holds the most promise for me on the West coast. With our fires and floods they have been responsive.
As far as a personal win I’m an old lady waking up is a big win for me!!! ❤️
Thank you for laying out the full details of Judge McElroy's decision, Shawn! Protecting that $7 billion Solar for All program ensures real relief reaches hundreds of thousands of families. A massive victory!
