FOUR COURTS, 450 JUDGES, ONE LOSING REGIME

Rigoberto Santillan-Quiroz has lived here for twenty years. He’s married to a legal permanent resident and has a daughter who is a US citizen. He stood by his wife through her heart surgery. Then ICE detained him at a traffic stop and threw him in a cell for eight months—no hearing, no bond. The regime’s rule was simple: lock them up, and don’t let them out.
On Tuesday, the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals struck down the policy, and Judge Richard Federico ordered Rigoberto released. The decision covers six states—Colorado, Kansas, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Utah, and Wyoming—where thousands of others can now ask for the hearing the regime tried to take away.
Four appeals courts and more than 450 judges have now torched this scheme. The regime responds to every loss the same way—by running to the Supreme Court. Rigoberto gets to go home.
NEW ORLEANS INDICTED A REPUBLICAN AG

In November, New Orleans voters elected Calvin Duncan to Clerk of the Orleans Parish Criminal District Court. Duncan spent 28 years in prison for a crime he didn’t commit. Then he walked out, earned a law degree, and won his race with 68% of the vote.
So the state’s Republican legislature abolished the office to keep him out. Attorney General Liz Murrill sent letters warning Mayor Helena Moreno and other city leaders they could lose their own jobs if they fought back.
Break the rules. Threaten the people into silence. That’s their whole playbook.
New Orleans didn’t blink. On Thursday, a grand jury indicted Murrill on sixteen felony counts—eight for intimidation, eight for abusing her office. A sitting Republican attorney general, charged by the very people she tried to bully.
By Friday, Louisiana’s Supreme Court raced to freeze the case—so fast that one of its own justices called it special treatment no ordinary defendant would ever get. But the charges are already on the record. In New Orleans, the people don’t fold.
HE HELD A SIGN. THAT WAS THE “CRIME.”

Air Force Major Jason Watson has served more than twenty years in uniform. On Wednesday, he climbed the steps of the US Capitol, held up a sign reading “Impeach. Convict. Remove.,” and accused the regime of launching what he called unconstitutional wars in Venezuela, Cuba, and Iran.
“These violations resulted in the deaths of 13 service members and injuries of hundreds more,” he said. “The president and vice president must be impeached, convicted, and removed.”
Then Capitol Police arrested him—for holding a sign on the House steps without a member of Congress beside him. A violent mob stormed this same Capitol on Jan 6. Trump pardoned most of them. Watson raised a sign, and now the regime wants payback.
He says he’s not a Democrat. He just decided he’d seen enough. The Air Force has opened an investigation that could cost him his career and his pension. But a regime that cuffs a soldier over a piece of cardboard isn’t strong—it’s terrified. And Watson just showed everyone why.

Its ideals, he said, “are strong enough to endure any authoritarian regime—but only if we reach for them.”
Just a man at a desk, telling Americans the country is theirs.

Originally I was going to say the wins on voting rights grab, but really thinking about the wins, I have to say the Court not hearing the E. Jean Carroll case, in my opinion, is the most significant of all the wins, because DJT is actually being held accountable for something. Happy Independence Day

Brian Mast joked about having sex with 15-year-old girls. Mast was reelected four more times. Bernard Taylor is a firefighter and paramedic, he is running to take that seat.
In 2020, Brian Mast was forced to apologize for Facebook posts Mast wrote in 2009 and 2011.
Mast called the posts “disgusting and inappropriate.”
Those were Mast’s own words. About Mast’s own jokes. The jokes were about having sex with 15-year-old girls in South Africa. Mast also made a pick-up line involving rape or murder. Mast made those posts with a friend. That friend later became Mast’s campaign manager. Mast knew exactly who that man was. Mast hired him anyway.
What Mast Has Done With That Power
In October 2023, Mast walked into the United States Congress wearing an Israeli military uniform. Mast was the only member of Congress to do this.
A few weeks later, Mast stood on the House floor and said there are no innocent Palestinian civilians. Mast compared Palestinian civilians to Nazi civilians.
Mast took over $700,000 from AIPAC to get there.
Now Mast chairs the House Foreign Affairs Committee. Mast decides what this country’s foreign policy looks like. Mast controls what bills come to a vote and which ones die in committee.
Brian Mast is still in Congress. Good news is we have the candidate to beat him.
The Man Who Should Have Mast’s Seat
Bernard Taylor is a fourth-generation Floridian. Taylor grew up here. His family has been in Florida for four generations.
Taylor became a firefighter. Then a paramedic. When something goes wrong in the district, Taylor is the one who shows up.
