Former President Joe Biden walked onto a stage in Maryland Saturday night and threw his sharpest punch at Trump since he left office.
He ran down the list of vanity projects one by one: the ballroom where the East Wing used to stand. Trump’s name on the Kennedy Center, until a judge ordered it removed. An arch to himself. A $14.7 million paint job on the reflecting pool that turned green in weeks. “Whoa,” Biden said. “What a loser.”
And the grift didn’t stop there. A second no-bid contract—$1.7 million to clean the pool—went straight to a Trump donor who lives down the road from Mar-a-Lago. Biden didn’t hold back: “brazen, blatant corruption. On a scale never seen before in American history.”
Biden left the room with marching orders. “Get up, dammit,” he said. “Get up now. Continue this fight!”

He became independent to try & keep a political career & sucking off of the government.

They may not be able to match Russia in terms of troops but they’ve shown a new way to push back that may change battles and incursions/wars like this in the future. Not only is Ukraine being successful at hitting Russia in vulnerable locations but those locations are industrial, military, or key transportation and supply targets, not civilian population targets like Russia has been targeting. That’s what separates the men from the little bullying boys and will, I believe, help Ukraine win the war.

I have been thinking about Ukraine since the first attack and I couldn’t be happier that they are in a position to go on the offensive and harm Putin and his allies.
I think the court knew they couldn’t stop mail in voting and so they voted to give him more power in other ways that could be more significant in the long run.

More than 100 former federal and state judges are demanding an ethics investigation into Todd Blanche for allegedly abusing his Justice Department authority for political retaliation. They say his actions violated his oath of office and undermined the integrity of federal prosecutions. The complaint argues that Blanche’s conduct represents a serious threat to the rule of law and requires formal disciplinary review.
If the New York Bar finds the allegations valid, Todd Blanche could face anything from formal sanctions to a full suspension of his law license, and in the most serious scenario he could be disbarred entirely. It wouldn’t mean jail time, but it would be a career‑ending outcome for a lawyer.

Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche's principal focus in recent weeks has been lining up support on Capitol Hill ahead of his upcoming Senate confirmation hearings, with a specific focus on winning over GOP skeptics. But Donald Trump's controversial former defense attorney has more troubles than lining up 51 votes.
As this week got underway, Democracy Defenders Fund, Lawyers Defending American Democracy and a group of 101 former federal and state judges filed a complaint against Blanche with the New York State Bar, which included a formal request for an ethics investigation.
The 73-page complaint specifically focused on three areas of alleged misconduct:
Blanche's role in orchestrating the creation of a $1.776 billion compensation fund, widely panned as a "slush fund," and an IRS audit shield for the president and his family.
Blanche's role in "abusing the investigative and prosecutorial powers" of the Justice Department to target the president's perceived political enemies, including former FBI Director James Comey.
Blanche supervising the DOJ's "flawed response to the Epstein Files Transparency Act, including the disclosure of thousands of records containing sensitive victim information."
Time will tell what, if anything, comes of the complaint, but as the process moves forward, it's worth pausing to note just how frequently former judges have become prominent and influential critics of the president and his team.
In early November, for example, Judge Mark L. Wolf, a Reagan-appointed jurist, resigned from the federal bench in order to give himself the freedom to warn the public about the threats posed by Trump.
"The White House's assault on the rule of law is so deeply disturbing to me that I feel compelled to speak out. Silence, for me, is now intolerable," he explained.
Three weeks later, The Washington Post conducted interviews with a dozen former judges and one soon-to-be-retired judge who condemned the president's attacks on the judiciary — with one going so far as to say, "All you have to do is look back on what occurred in Nazi Germany."
Last month, meanwhile, U.S. District Judge Kathleen Williams ordered Trump to address allegations that he committed fraud on the court after he withdrew his $10 billion lawsuit against the IRS. Williams said she was spurred to act in response to a request filed two days earlier by 35 former federal judges calling on her to reopen the case and look into whether the out-of-court settlement was "a product of collusion and is itself a fraud on the Court."
Traditionally, when judges step down from the bench, they focus on writing or teaching among their retirement activities. In the Trump era, things sure are different.

We have major, urgent work to shore up the U.S. Supreme Court against partisanship and to require credible, ethical fulfillment of its judicial duties. The mail voting ruling was correct yet scary because unnervingly close.
I think the world is voting on both Trump and Putin. Trump’s attempt to mess with elections was too obvious for even his Supreme Court to approve!

I think we've already proven impeachment is impossible now. We didn't impeach Trump after an insurrection. So the only way you can impeach these guys is if you get one party with a super majority in the Senate, and the Senate is so rigged now that the only party that could get there is probably the Republicans. Sure you can impeach them but you can't convict them and nobody seems to care as long as they like the decisions.
The court is packed because of the efforts of the Federalist Society, the Heritage Foundation, and Mitch McConnel to carry out P2025 and it has taken decades to get to this point. Trump was put in as president through a rigged election because it is widely known that he is THE EPITOME of a useful idiot, the corruption, the grifting, the vanity projects, and in rare cases and for appearance purposes, we get thrown a bone that maybe, just maybe, the court will not bend the Constitution. Time will tell. Sorry for the pessimism but this scheme is a lot deeper than we can imagine. WE need to stay steady and hold together with support for each other. To start with, WE need to get into the detainment camps and show what is really going on by this administration and call them out on it! WE must give Rights to all humans to have their say in court.
