Hey,
WE WON. As Chris Rabb said tonight: “Many people told me this wasn’t possible. Tonight we showed that the many can beat the money.”
I was at Chris Rabb’s election party tonight, and I know this is just the beginning. The energy in Philly was electric. Organizers, young people, working people, families, volunteers, and everyone who poured time, energy, and hope into this race helped make history tonight. I could not be more proud.
Tonight sent a clear message: people are done with politics as usual. Voters in PA-03 showed that people are not asking for less. They are asking for more: more courage, more vision, and leaders willing to fight for working people instead of corporate power.
If you’re fired up by tonight, now’s a good moment to help us keep building. Can you chip in to turn this win into lasting power for working people?
Chris Rabb defeated an opposition backed by AIPAC and corporate money, proving that a people-powered movement can take on the political establishment and win.
This race showed the power of grassroots organizing over big money and political machines. Sunrise Movement was one of the first national organizations to endorse Chris Rabb, and together we helped build a massive organizing effort across the district. We made 54,800 calls for Chris Rabb, and our coalition knocked on more than 100,000 doors across PA-03. That’s what people power looks like.
But tonight was bigger than one election.
This victory is a sign of where the future of the Democratic Party is headed. People are rejecting politics that asks us to shrink our vision to fit what political insiders think is possible. Voters are demanding bold leadership that meets the scale of the crises people face every day.
We are building a new generation of politics led by working people, young people, and movements unafraid to fight for transformational change. And we need to keep building.
If tonight proved anything, it’s that grassroots movements can win when people step up together. The political establishment has corporate PACs and billionaire donors. We have people.
Will you chip in right now to help Sunrise continue building the organizing power needed to win races like this across the country?
Every call, every door knocked, every volunteer trained, and every young person brought into this movement happens because people like you decide to invest in this fight.
Tonight we celebrate. Tomorrow, we keep organizing.
In Solidarity,
Sultan
