When Pete Hegseth isn’t daydreaming about illegal bomb runs or texting out classified military strike plans in a whiskey haze, he is showing the world just how unfit he is to wear the title of Secretary of Defense.  Not long ago, the man running the Pentagon decided to amplify a preacher who thinks women shouldn’t be allowed to vote, blasting that garbage from the same office that commands thousands of women in uniform.    Hegseth is an open disgrace to the armed services and a black eye on the leadership of our military. I have fought beside women who have more courage and conviction in their pinky than Hegseth has in his entire whiskey-soaked carcass.  Women who led combat patrols through ambushes, commanded units under fire, and carried wounded brothers and sisters out of kill zones. They never backed down, never quit, and never hesitated to lead from the front. Hegseth wore the uniform, but now he’s cashing in whatever honor he earned to prop up a fringe, Bible-thumping con artist who thinks the women he once fought beside should be voiceless in a democracy Watching a coward sell off respect for MAGA Christian nationalist loyalty is pathetic enough, but Hegseth takes it further by shoving the courage of his sisters-in-arms under the bus to score points with a two-bit preacher and the pack of small, scared men nodding along in approval. And speaking of small, scared men…  My opponent Richard Hudson is the man making sure this filth stays on the airwaves.  As chair of the RNCC, he is the keeper of the MAGA vault, the man who moves the billionaire donor money that bankrolls campaigns for politicians who share Hegseth’s backwards “get in your place” worldview. It’s the same warped ideology behind the MAGA majority’s SAVE Act, a bill that would put voting rights for married women in jeopardy, that passed the House earlier this year.  Every dollar Hudson moves keeps this women-hating propaganda flowing, the attacks coming, and the doors closed to anyone who believes women deserve equal footing in our military and in our democracy.  Cut off that money and the whole rotten machine grinds to a halt. Chip in today and help me rip Hudson’s greasy fingers off the vault. Let’s choke the funding that fuels this garbage and send his career spinning into the gutter where it belongs.
