Do you remember when Kristi Noem looked the Congress straight in the eye and said “we do not deport U S citizens or military veterans.”
Well Kristi Noem is a liar and she's betting you won't notice.
This month, a Georgia Army veteran named Godfrey Wade was deported to Jamaica after living here for 50 years.
He came here lawfully back in 1975, served overseas in the United States Army, and then built a life with 6 kids and grandkids in Georgia.
Then a traffic stop for a turn signal turned into ICE grabbing him, locking him up for months, and shipping him out while his appeal was still pending.
Chip in right now and help me call this what it is: a bunch of flag waving phonies who salute the Fox News camera and stab veterans in the back the second it scores them political points. Throw in $50, $100, $250 whatever you can afford and help me break this MAGA machine at the ballot box because we are days from the primary and I am fired up, fed up, and ready to make them answer for it.
My grandfather came here from Jalisco, Mexico chasing the American dream. The only difference between my Peepaw and the people they’re disappearing today is time.
These people hate the fact that my grandfather came here seeking a better life and worked his finger to the bone for this country. He built a life and a legacy of service. His son, my father, went on to be a nurse and anesthesiologist who served at the Cleveland Clinic and provided lifesaving healthcare to thousands.
I joined the Army and went on to serve my country for 24 years, working my way up from the enlisted ranks to become an officer. I stood shoulder to shoulder with immigrants who took their oath of citizenship while fighting alongside me in Iraq and Afghanistan.
That’s the legacy that many immigrant families all over this country have. Immigrants built this country and that’s the story these MAGA bootlickers like my opponent are trying to erase.
When I’m elected, I will work everyday to protect the opportunity for people from all over the world to be able to continue building their American story.
