STRONGER THAN TRUMP

Aliya Rahman rose silently from her seat during the part of Trump’s State of the Union where he called Somali immigrants “pirates” who had “ransacked Minnesota.” No sign, no shouting, just standing in defiance.
When Capitol Police ordered her to sit, she refused—pointing out others around her were standing too. As officers began to pull her toward the exit, the crowd rose to clap for Trump, proving her point. They grabbed her by the shoulders and dragged her out, as attendees called on them to let her walk with her crutches. They refused. She was taken to the hospital, then booked, and held until just before 4am.
What the officers didn’t know—or didn’t care about—was that Trump’s agents in Minneapolis had already torn Rahman’s rotator cuff tendon and cartilage in both shoulders when they pulled her from her car en route to a doctor’s appointment. Capitol Police grabbed her where she was injured.
Rahman was there as a guest of Rep. Ilhan Omar. “There are only two things you can do at the State of the Union, and they are sit down and stand up,” she said. “I stood up at the moment that I heard this man say some of the most racist things I have heard come out of any leader’s mouth about the people of my city.”
They hurt her in Minneapolis. They arrested her in DC. She’s still standing—and we’re standing with her. Not all heroes wear capes. Some have crutches.

Trump’s illegal tariffs continue to backfire, with more than 1,000 companies suing in federal court. The regime collected an estimated $175 billion from the illegal tariffs, and now every one of these plaintiffs is demanding their money back.
Victor Schwartz spent years building his New York wine import company VOS Selections, until Trump’s tariffs threatened to put him out of business. He sued. On Feb 20, the Supreme Court ruled 6-3 in his favor, striking down the tariffs. As Chief Justice John Roberts wrote, the Framers “did not vest any part of the taxing power in the Executive Branch.”
NY Gov. Kathy Hochul held a press conference at Schwartz’s Midtown offices afterward, declaring: “New Yorkers have paid more than they should have under an illegal scheme that the Supreme Court has now struck down.”
Hochul also sent a letter to Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent this week, demanding $13.5 billion back for the state—which is over $1,750 per household. Other governors have joined the fight with similar demands, and now 26 Senate Democrats introduced the Tariff Refund Act—which would force the regime to issue full refunds with interest.
TOO BUSY FOR TRUMP

After Team USA’s men’s hockey team won gold in Milan, Trump “joked” over the phone he’d “probably be impeached” if he didn’t invite the women’s team to the State of the Union. The women’s hockey team had claimed their own gold only three days earlier on that same ice, also in overtime, by the same score. The men laughed—the women declined.
Captain of the women’s team Hilary Knight said: “I thought it was sort of a distasteful joke, and unfortunately that is overshadowing a lot of the success of just women at the Olympics.” When asked if she would go to the State of the Union or visit the White House, Olympic MVP Caroline Harvey said she was too busy with school.
To honor the team properly, musician Flavor Flav is inviting the team—along with all female US Olympic and Paralympic medalists—to a “She Got Game Weekend” in Las Vegas over the summer. Forward Alex Carpenter said: “I think we’re fully gonna take advantage of that and go have some fun and celebrate like we deserve to.”

On February 11, New Jersey Gov. Mikie Sherrill signed Executive Order No.12, which states that no federal immigration agent may use NJ state property as a staging area without a judicial warrant.
When signing the order, Sherrill said: “Given ICE’s willingness to flout the Constitution and violently endanger communities—detaining children, arresting citizens, and even killing innocent civilians—I will stand up for New Jerseyans’ right to be safe.”
Sherrill also launched a portal for people to upload any videos of ICE encounters, and released the “Know Your Rights” website, available in 22 languages.
This week, Pam Bondi’s DOJ sued her for it, filing a sloppy complaint that misspelled Sherrill’s name five times. The Governor fired back: “Instead of attacking states like New Jersey … the federal government should be training their ICE agents.”
This is what resistance looks like. It’s the same energy behind our 645,000 contacts to Congress, our billions of monthly social media impressions, and our push to flip Congress in November—turning Trump into a lame duck.

Powerful things happen when strong women resist.
And the men’s team acted like a bunch of douchebags.
Let’s use the term other than that for the men’s team. Because it’s so associated with women of course. Can’t we find something more appropriate, I had suggested at one point, given Trump‘s love of golf, we call weak men like that “ball washers”.
I like it.
There is no excuse for ICE to treat anyone like that. I don't know the outcome of all that, but I hope the perpetrators are being disciplined, Homan has apologized, and all expenses surrounding this are paid for.
Trump’s war won’t take our eyes off the prize. The irony of the reasoning for his regime change says it all.

The NY Times is using the "above the fold" of their paper to bring more of Trump's Epstein association to light, and other media are then picking up on it, bringing more exposure. Hopefully, that will help accelerate things.

The thing with "flooding the zone" is that your "opponent" becomes inured to the tactic and accustomed to dealing with multiple issues at once. This Iran War isn't likely to pull focus the way it once would have. We recognize it for the stunt that it is. This doesn't mean we're not outraged by it, just that we have expanded our capacity to be outraged by many things at once.

Since women's hockey became an Olympic sport, the US women's team has won 8 medals. During that same period of time, the US men's team has won 3 medals. I tire of men getting all the glory, especially incompetent misogynists.
Capitol police targeted Aliya Rahman. The adminstration is aware of her communication skills and is afraid of her and Capitol police were ready to remove her. The administration wants to silence her. She is brave and they are cowards.

IS IT TIME TO GO TO WAR AGAIN WITH IRAN?
The question on everyone’s mind is: “Why now?”, especially when negotiations appeared promising.
It is becoming painstakingly clear that there is an obvious pattern of Trump threatening to go to war or actually going to war against foreign countries or on the high seas whenever he suffers a devastating public humiliation.
Trump’s most recent and glaring personal humiliation was the Supreme Court’s declaration that Trump’s favorite weapon with which he sought to rule the world by extortionate tariffs was totally illegal .
The act of taking our country to war to distract the public from his heinous acts or public humiliations was Trump’s brainstorm right after his public humiliation on June 14 when the draft dodger-in-chief got the military parade he deserved.
June 14, 2025 was billed as the military parade to end all parades, which would lead to the glorification of Donald Trump on his 79th birthday as The Master of the Universe, which would even transcend his claim that he “runs the country and the world”.
As we all know, the line of disheveled soldiers slovenly marching out of step with a proud display of indifference was a huge fiasco, and a total humiliation to Trump.
So was it then a mere coincidence that at that very moment, he just happened to do a quick turn-around, reject the assessment of his own intelligence organizations and tell Iran and the world that unless Iran agrees to “unconditional surrender”, the U.S. would join in Israel’s attack on Iran, which is exactly what Trump ordered?
Did it work? You bet it did.
Trump’s sudden bombing of Iran took the entire world’s attention off the egg on Trump’s face and onto the question of whether he was leading us into a nuclear war.
Since then, a long list of domestic political setbacks for Trump and his menagerie of political clowns and servile politicians became increasingly interspersed with the invasion of Venezuela, doggedly blowing up and murdering over 100 smugglers on the high seas, whom Trump renamed as “narco-terrorists to make them sound threatening, regardless of whether women or children were on board, and sending our paratroopers into Nigeria by portraying himself as the Last Great Crusader leading a Holy War against the infidels who were allegedly persecuting Christians in Nigeria.
Trump’s unilateral stunt in taking our country to war again with Iran without the consent of Congress, worked for Trump in the past, so he’s now betting the ranch that it will work for him again.
Aliya Rahmans story is just another racist attack that this administration buries. She has grounds to sue for her 1st amendment rights but also her physical injuries. Unfortunately we know there are many cases that we haven’t even heard of and people are suffering. Yes we should all get a tariff refund but I doubt we’ll ever see them. HEY TRUMPY IS A WAR IN CONJUNCTION WITH YOUR CRIMINAL BUDDY NETANYAHU ENOUGH TO STOP TALK OF THE EPSTEIN FILES????
1. Yes, every person living in America had to pay tariff tax and women, children and men should get a refund check. It's not a government grant it is a tax refund.
2. Again, I am amazed at how violent the trump/epstein administration is. The GOP likes violence and hurting women and people of color. To violate the same woman twice, in public, is brazen evil. If he does decide to initiate another military conflict, it almost certainly won’t involve any ground operations. Trump took office saying he would end America’s “forever wars,” but only those who weren’t listening very closely believed he had no appetite for overseas military adventurism. Trump loves a good bombing campaign, but favors operations that are quick, involve minimal risk to US personnel, and don’t require him to clean up after whatever mess he made.
In the first year of his second term, Trump bombed seven different countries: Iran, Iraq, Syria, Yemen, Venezuela, Somalia, and Nigeria. That’s not exactly a record of restraint, but it shows how he likes to operate.
Though Iran’s ballistic missiles and proxy groups are part of the official rationale, Trump is focused on the country’s efforts to develop its nuclear capacity. That’s why it’s so important to remember that we had an agreement with Iran that did, in fact, constrain its nuclear program. It was called the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), and it was painstakingly negotiated by the US, Russia, China, France, Germany, and the UK, and finalized in mid-2015. In exchange for sanctions relief, it put in place a monitoring system to ensure that Iran could not enrich uranium beyond what was necessary for civilian use. (Iran has always claimed, not very persuasively, that it has no intention to build nuclear bombs.)
When Trump took office in 2017, his own military and national security advisers tried to convince him that the JCPOA was working and would stop Iran from developing a nuclear weapon. But because it was negotiated under Barack Obama, Trump convinced himself that it was a disaster, and in 2018 he abandoned the agreement. To no one’s surprise, Iran then resumed its efforts to reach the capacity to produce nuclear weapons, leading us toward the place we are now.
He hasn’t even tried to persuade anyone
While Americans are well used to the cycle we’re in — escalating tensions, belligerent statements from both sides, a seemingly unstoppable march to war — there has been a gaping void where we normally find a vigorous propaganda effort.
We all know how it works: The president gives a big speech explaining what his goals are, administration representatives fan out to make the case, members of Congress debate whether it’s a good idea, diplomats are sent to persuade allies that they should join in the effort, and all of that creates waves of news coverage and analysis that help the public understand what’s at stake and what the potential outcomes are.
In its extreme version (e.g. the Bush administration’s preparation for the Iraq War), the government creates bogus narratives and fake evidence of the terrible danger America is in if we don’t immediately let loose with all our spectacular capacity to rain hellfire down on any country anywhere in the world. But even that presumes that without the legitimacy of public support, the war can’t proceed.
