One of the worst maga sycophants, GOP Rep. Elise Stefanik, abruptly announced she is ending her campaign for governor of New York and will not seek re-election to Congress. This comes after months of brewing drama between Stefanik and Trump. Good riddance!
BESSENT BAILS

Billionaire and failing Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent got roasted while trying to have a nice dinner in DC this week. During the meal, an activist raised a glass for a toast, stating: “We want to make an announcement! We have a special guest here, and we want to make a toast for the Secretary of the Treasury, Scott Bessent.”
Bessent clearly thought it was going to be positive until the activist said: “So let’s give it up for the man who is eating in peace as people starve across the world based on his sanctions.”
A visibly uncomfortable Bessent booed in response, complained to staff several times, and eventually stormed out in disgrace. The person who made the toast later said: “We should be confronting [the Trump regime] with our voice as much as we can, because people across the world are affected by this.” Absolutely right.
DOJ SLAMMED FOR EPSTEIN FAILURES

Yesterday, the DOJ failed to deliver all of the Epstein files, which they were required to do by law. They made up a bunch of excuses, acting like they care about the survivors, when all they actually care about is covering up for Trump and his friends.
Dem Reps. Jamie Raskin and Robert Garcia sent out a joint statement about this, saying: “Donald Trump and the Department of Justice are now violating federal law as they continue covering up the facts and the evidence about Jeffrey Epstein’s decades-long, billion-dollar, international CHILD sex trafficking ring.”
And Dem Rep. Ro Khanna reminded the Trump regime: “Anyone who tampers with these documents or conceals documents or engages in excessive redactions will be prosecuted because of obstruction of justice. We will prosecute individuals regardless of whether they’re the attorney general or a career or a political appointee.”
I’ve already looked through thousands of the Epstein files that were released yesterday—and what I saw was beyond disturbing. I’m still going through all of it, as we continue to push the DOJ to release the files. All of them.
BACKLASH TO KENNEDY

Let’s start with the fact that Trump has no legal authority to add his name to monuments, which include the Kennedy Center. Not that Trump cares—he did it anyway. While millions of Americans are about to see their healthcare premiums spike—including myself—this is what he’s focused on?
In response to the illegal act, Dem Rep. Joyce Beatty said the regime has “no regard for the rule of law. They are acting as … criminals do.”
The great news here is things like this can easily be undone by a Democratic president. And I’m guessing it will be cathartic for many folks to see his name ripped off buildings like these. I’ll gladly help—I’ll even bring my own crowbar.
WALZ PULLS NO PUNCHES

Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz let Trump have it this week for skyrocketing healthcare costs. “He is a damn fool,” Walz said, adding that Trump has “the stupidest assessment of healthcare that I have ever heard out of someone in a position of authority.”
Walz added that any bogus plan from Trump is coming from someone “who I guarantee you has never had to purchase their own healthcare.” That’s a point that needs to be repeated over and over again.
TRUMP’S FAILING HEALTH

Trump isn’t just a fool—he’s unwell and getting worse by the day. He proved that by slumping over, appearing to fall asleep again during an event in the Oval Office this week. This was shortly before delivering his unhinged “address” Wednesday evening.
It was embarrassing, even for Trump, to see him struggling to keep his eyes open while surrounded by medical professionals. And since nobody wants to see him, I put a photo of Baby Grinch over his face.
Dr. Jonathan Reiner, a world-renowned doctor and Dick Cheney’s longtime cardiologist, stated: “It’s jarring to see [Trump] go from basically asleep in the Oval to this rapid-fire pace during a 30-minute speech he gave in 18.”
Then Dr. Reiner added “I’m seriously concerned about [Trump’s] health,” saying that his rant “was delivered with a manic cadence, almost a frantic cadence … it was disturbing to watch.”

My congresscon, Nick Langworthy (NY23) tells me that it is a Bad Thing to make ICE unmask and show ID, because the terrorist Antifa members will come after them, and they are doing the bidding of the Great King of American who had a mandate.....OK, so that's NOT an exact quote. However, it is "close enough for government work," especially with the current government.

Considered the toast to be spot on this administration‘s cabinet, all members. One thing I’d like to see is the impeachment of the incompetent attorney general Bondi. Followed rapidly by the rest of trump’s incompetents.

It isn't reassuring. I'm even more disturbed to see our health care flailing under the unguided, unchecked "leadership" of Secretary Kennedy. Many will get sick. Many will die. And, as a physician, it's hard for me to believe that his disingenuous, sycophantic enabler, Senator Cassidy, took the Hippocratic oath.

I saw on Bluesky that DOJ took a photo of Bill Clinton, Michael Jackson, and Diana Ross with children and slipped it into their tampering with evidence version to make it seem like they were perpetrators. The photo is actually a Getty photo from a fundraising event years ago and the children in the photo with them are Diana's own children. Disgusting the Botox Bondi would do something like that.
I love everything about the toast for Bessent, especially the part where he gets rattled and starts shouting back like a spoiled child on a playground, and then turns into a Karen demanding the restaurant manager do something about it, before storming out in a whiny-baby tantrum. As for Bessent, he needs to be confronted on his lies and horrendous policies. Every member of the administration does. None of them care one iota about the damage they are causing to our country and everyone in it - except the billionaires.
First…my crowbar is ready! I can’t imagine Trump will be alive much longer. If he is, surely his brain is dormant and needs professional care. And, speaking of health care…Finally Scott Bessent deserved every uncomfortable moment caused by the exceptionally brilliant man dining near him!
My hat is off to that person that delivered that beautiful toast to Bessent! Whoever it was, was absolutely correct! We need to use our voices! State the truth. State the obvious. Every. single. time. The fact that the orange man is sick is on display for everyone to see. The more the GOP and his regime and his sycophants try to ignore it, the worse it gets! We all know how sick he is, yet no one is stepping in to stop this complete and total mess! The fact that this regime is openly breaking the law and no one is doing anything to stop it makes me sick to my stomach! What needs to be done to stop this before he does something more awful and heinous than he already has? It is true that we can rebuild the East Wing, demolish the concrete pad and replant the rose garden, tear down his "sick wall" of insults and tear out all of the gaudy gold once he is gone. What I am completely concerned about is how are we ever going to re-engage with the world once he is gone? Our standing on the world stage is gone. Our allies may never trust us again. America is in a horrible place right now and every single day, I do my little part to fight and resist. I write letters, postcards, make phone calls, sign petitions and protest. What I hope and pray for is that other Americans, like me, are doing what they can as well. To be honest, some days I feel that no matter how hard we fight and resist, we continue down this dark path and there just doesn't seem to be any end in sight! I will campaign hard for my candidates in the midterms and hope that we can take back the House and the Senate and stop this mad man before it is just too late.
