Trump and his Fox News flunky turned Pentagon hatchet man, Pete Hegseth, just gutted more of the military’s leadership.
In a single week they axed the head of the Defense Intelligence Agency, the Chief of Navy Reserve, and the commander of Naval Special Warfare Command (head of the Navy SEALS).
Add that to the damn pile of generals, admirals, and chiefs and countless other fine officers already tossed aside since Trump slithered back into office.
These are decorated officers with decades of brave service.
Their only crime was honoring their oath to the Constitution instead of kissing Trump’s over-bronzed hide.
Every purge sends the same message: bend the knee to one man or get tossed out like garbage.
I spent 24 years in uniform, from Iraq to Afghanistan.
I commanded soldiers in combat and I buried brothers and sisters. That’s why I know exactly what’s at stake when the coward in chief decapitates the chain of command.
The finest fighting force on the planet risks becoming a circus of yes-men, causing morale to rot from the inside, planning to collapse, and leaving rank-and-file troops to bleed while a draft dodger plays tin pot tyrant.
These dictatorial moves should not be a shock to any of us. They were spelled out word for word in Project 2025.
Strip out the independent leaders. Replace them with MAGA cultists. Turn America’s armed forces into a private Praetorian Guard for one man.
Trump and Hegseth are staging the takeover, and RNCC slimeball in chief Richard Hudson is bankrolling the whole charade.

Hudson is not some anonymous MAGA backbencher.
As chair of the NRCC, he is the bagman who funnels dark money into keeping Trump’s dictatorship on life support, greasing the palms of every coward in Congress willing to look the other way.
Trump and the MAGA goon squad are gambling that America is too tired, too distracted, too beaten down to care that he is purging the armed forces like some two-bit banana republic despot.
Trump and Hudson never thought they’d have to deal with a pissed-off combat vet who lived by that creed and is ready to take the fight to them.
I am running for Congress because this country needs seasoned veterans who know the stakes, who have led men under fire, and who have the backbone to fight like hell for our democracy.
I’ve carried the weight when lives depended on it.
And I will not sit back while Trump and his lapdogs turn our military into a prop for their authoritarian cosplay.
