Hope Wins: Federal Judge Protects Funding for Survivors

Hi friend,

In case you missed it: a federal judge just handed down a major victory for equality, compassion, and survivors of violence.

Judge Melissa DuBose ruled that the Trump administration cannot impose political restrictions on federal grants that fund lifesaving services for victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, and homelessness.

This is a huge win for the shelters, crisis centers, and advocacy groups that protect women, LGBTQ+ youth, and families across the country. It reaffirms a simple truth: no one should have to choose between their values and the resources that keep their doors open.
