Donald Trump is the cause of the great crisis escalating in America. He is a constitutional arsonist, filled with malice-spitting venom and insanity, with a legion of sycophants cheering him on. Trump hates with his full soul. He is surrounded by a cast of cretins, extremists, hacks, losers, weirdos, deviants, criminals, and seething bundles of evil like Stephen Miller. In fact, what surrounds Trump is every bit as awful as what surrounded Adolf Hitler in 1936 at the opening ceremony of the Berlin Olympics. Today, nearly every American general and admiral will hear from their commander in chief and his preposterous Secretary of War — the Captain Queeg of the E-Ring. This is what opposition looks like. Here is what Chuck Schumer and Hakeem Jeffries said yesterday following their White House meeting: Donald Trump is our shared threat. Chuck Schumer and Hakeem Jeffries are our shared problem. Every person who is appalled and disgusted by what is happening has been taken hostage by the cowardice of their colleagues, as well as their utter disregard for us. Some of you have asked why I have written so often about the 2024 disaster so often, and/or why it is necessary, and/or why it matters. The age of pretend is over. It must be over. When Hakeem Jeffries talks about “bipartisanship” with his hands flailing about as if he is auditioning to play a parody of himself on “Saturday Night Live” it means that he is as delusional as Kristi Noem or Pam Bondi. What is he talking about? Schumer is even worse. Neither is effective as a communicator, strategist, tactician or leader. They are incompetent. They are weakness personified. They are appeasers and weaklings. Behind them are all of the Congressional lemmings and careerists who stand for nothing but the next lobbyist check. Money, money, money. They are the equivalent of colonial-era physicians who show up at the bedside of a cancer patient with a bucket full of leeches. They must go. Their negotiating position regarding Trump is idiotic, and they will not hold the line. There is one simple truth about this moment that a competent opposition leadership would have been able to communicate very clearly and very directly in a manner that even the idiotized American voter could understand. It is this: YOU GUYS DON’T HAVE THE VOTES. Here’s the next sentence: WE DO. Here’s the next: F*#K YOU. And then: WE HAVE A LIST OF 10 ITEMS. THEY AREN’T NEGOTIABLE. I GUESS WE ARE LIKE DICTATORS FOR THE DAY. WE HAVE THE VOTES. Maximum abuses of power must be met by maximum uses of power. Pathetic is not a defense against fascism. America’s version of the Maginot Line has revealed itself as two hollow men, politicians of the 21st century, who can barely speak a coherent sentence because they have lost their connection to their native tongue within the hermetically-sealed bubble in which they live. Trump is a ridiculous president, but he is dangerous. Schumer and Jeffries are ridiculous opposition leaders, but they, too, are dangerous. One danger brings the malice and insanity. The other danger brings the appeasement and weakness. Together, it’s enough to murder Lady Liberty. When she falls it will be hard to count the fingerprints around her throat.
