Back to today’s segment.

Brett and Ron tackle Trump’s shocking claim that Epstein “stole” young women from Mar-a-Lago—including Virginia Giuffre, who was underage and working at Trump’s spa before being trafficked. Filipkowski calls out the multiple, ever-shifting excuses Trump has given for cutting ties with Epstein, warning that his compulsive need to respond is making him look more guilty by the day.

They also highlight Kristi Noem’s head-scratching “Homeland Security” trip to Chile—coincidentally just days before Trump’s 50% copper tariffs are set to hit—while noting her long-rumored affair partner Corey Lewandowski tagged along for the ride.

Elsewhere, the GOP continues to rant about chemtrails sink deeper into Christian nationalism. Marjorie Taylor Greene and Rep. Tim Burchett are pushing legislation based on the baseless “weather manipulation” conspiracy. Meanwhile, Trump’s administration just rolled out new rules encouraging federal employees to proselytize at work—essentially opening the door to state-sponsored missionary work in government offices.

And then there’s JD Vance. With no real responsibilities, Trump’s vice president is vacationing all summer long. Vance trashes blue states every chance he gets, but sure loves to vacation in them.

But amidst the madness, the message from Brett and Ron is clear: The MeidasTouch community is built for this moment. “This is why we do what we do,” Meiselas said. “We’re powered by truth—and by you.”
