Nobody wants to work with defense secretary Pete Hegseth. As we all know, about a month and a half ago, Pete Hegseth had to have a massive staff purge. They had an abnormally large number of leakers, and of course they had signal gate number one. You know, signal Gate number two happened, was just as bad. But you know, fewer people seem to care about that. Everybody's getting a little bit numb, which is also not a good thing. But nevertheless, Pete Hegseth had to fire his chief of staff. He had to fire several of his other top advisors. So the people that are basically supposed to surround every day help him do the job, give him ideas, tell him, you know, this is bad. Yes, this is good. They don't exist. So in the month and a half since these high ranking intelligence and DOD officials have been gone, the White House has been scrambling to hire people to replace them.
There's just one problem. The people that are qualified for the jobs are refusing them. Nobody wants to work with this wholly incompetent and potentially corrupt Secretary of Defense. So here's what's happening. According to the reports you got Vice President JD Vance, Donald Trump's chief of staff, Susie Wiles, have been working together for almost two months now, trying to find people to fill these vacancies in Heg S'S office so that he can actually do his job. But they're running into two separate problems. The first, as I mentioned, the people that are actually qualified for these positions have been turning them down. You know, people with vast military experience, people with intelligence, experience, people that are just actually intelligent, they have all said thanks, but no thanks according to multiple sources who spoke to the press. We don't want the jobs. Like, yeah, we could do it, but this guy sucks so bad that even with this high ranking position, that could definitely further my career, I'm not gonna do it. I don't want all the benefits that come with this because it means I gotta work with this idiot that is so horrible. The second reason they're having trouble finding people is because they're instituting, of course, these loyalty tests. So we gotta find people that are politically MAGA and yet also somehow qualified and wouldn't, you know, it, um, such a thing doesn't exist because hardcore MAGA and competent are mutually exclusive things. You can be competent or you can be maga, but you can't be both because competent people know MAGA is
Dumb and stupid. So therein lies the problem. They're either gonna have to hire MAGA people who are very dumb and don't know how to do the jobs, or they're gonna have to hire people that know how to do the jobs that might vote for Democrats. Seems like a real problem there, right? No, it shouldn't be a problem at all. You hire the competent people who cares about their political leanings. Political leanings should not have any impact on doing the actual job, but this administration is not going to make that decision. So instead, when they finally announced that people have been hired, it's gonna be maga, they're gonna be incompetent, and the chaos that we've seen from the Department of Defense is only going to get worse.
