JOIN WITH OTHERS & SPEAK OUT FOR IMMIGRANT COMMUNITIES THAT MAKE
OUR NATION GREAT!
![]() The Supreme Court just handed Trump a blank check to violate millions of Americans’ constitutional rights and target immigrant communities – and now extremist politicians in Congress are trying to write that same cruelty into law. Immigrants are America – powering local businesses, enriching our culture, and living and working as neighbors, colleagues, and fellow Americans. Every one of our neighbors deserves a fair shot – and every child deserves the support they need to thrive. But right now, Senate Republicans are pushing a cruel budget bill that selectively rips child tax credits, healthcare, and other lifelines away from immigrant families. The politicians pushing this bill are hoping they can divide us and scapegoat immigrants – so they can pass a bill that makes everybody worse off. Immigrants contribute billions of dollars in taxes every year – and it’s not fair to cut them off from the very programs those dollars support. [1] We must invest in the people who make this country home and honor the promise etched into our Statue of Liberty: “Give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses yearning to breathe free.” TAKE ACTIONThis isn’t just bad policy. It’s a direct attack on millions of families who work hard every day to support themselves and make our communities stronger. The House-passed bill could exclude 4.5 million children, many of them citizens, from the Child Tax Credit making it harder for parents to put food on the table. [2] It would also block Medicare benefits to immigrants who have paid into the system for years – causing needless suffering all while funneling hundreds of billions of dollars into Trump’s mass deportation machine. This isn’t about fiscal responsibility. It’s about targeting vulnerable communities and dismantling crucial programs that keep families afloat. We can’t sit back and watch while our neighbors, friends, and loved ones are pushed out and left behind. We need to take action now.
