As Judge Crawford put it bluntly: “He doesn’t care about Wisconsin. He’s never been here. He doesn’t even know who he’s running these ads against.” And if you need proof that this is nothing more than a power grab, the first attack ad against Crawford used a photo of a completely different Susan Crawford—because these right-wing billionaires don’t care about facts. Brad Schimel isn’t just another conservative judge. He is a full-on MAGA extremist. He believes the Wisconsin Supreme Court "screwed over" Donald Trump by not overturning the 2020 election. He has openly stated he wants to be part of a "support network" for Trump. He is running with Musk’s millions behind him, because they know he will do the bidding of billionaires and far-right extremists, not the people of Wisconsin. Schimel’s election would mean a far-right Wisconsin Supreme Court, one that could gut reproductive rights, healthcare access, environmental protections, and public safety laws. This is about more than just one seat—it’s about whether Wisconsin’s highest court protects people or corporate power. It’s not just about politics—it’s about profit. Judge Crawford explained that Musk has personal financial interests in Wisconsin’s legal system, including a Tesla lawsuit trying to overturn state laws preventing direct car sales. He doesn’t want a fair court. He wants a bought-and-paid-for justice. And let’s not forget DOGE—Musk’s shadow government. His crew of unelected, unqualified lackeys is already invading people’s privacy, digging through medical records, tax information, and personal data. We obviously have no idea what the full impact of that will be. It’s absolutely creepy. It’s a little like the Chinese government.
