Message to GOP elected officials from a former registered Republican. You took the same oath I took as a vet -To defend the Constitution from all enemies foreign and domestic. I volunteered to defend this country and understood that there was risk. Many of my classmates were drafted and had no choice. Many were sent to their deaths for questionable goals by elected officials. Stop hiding and cowering from the enemy. The Constitution is under threat, if you can’t take the heat – resign. You volunteered for this, and you are being compensated. You have far more protection than the average citizen. Do your job.
